
COMPREHENSIVE EXECUTIVE EXAMINATION FOR WOMEN 40 AND OVER
- General physical examination to include
- Complete history taken by an AMC physician to include review of medications, allergies, and immunizations
- Complete physical examination to include check of height and weight for calculation of Body Mass Index, blood pressure, and vision, in addition to a full head-to-toe examination by the physician
- Vaginal examination to include:
- Routine pelvic examination (Visual and manual inspection of vagina and cervix)
- Vaginal wet preparation for:
- Epithelium
- White blood cells
- Bacteria (Gardnerella, Gonococcus, and other species)
- Yeast (Candida albicans)
- Trichomonas
- Pap smear (screen for cervical cancer)
- PCR for HPV high oncogenic risk
- Blood laboratory studies to include:
- Complete Blood Count (check for anemia, infection, clotting cells)
- Glucose (screen for diabetes)
- Complete Lipid Profile (complete cholesterol and triglyceride panel)
- TSH (screen for thyroid disease)
- Liver and renal panels
- FSH/LH (screen of female hormones)
- Urine laboratory studies:
- Routine and microscopic analysis of urine (for blood, infection, diabetes, kidney disease)
- Abdominal ultrasound examinations. (Screen of liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen)
- Pelvic ultrasound examination (to include transvaginal study)
- Breast ultrasound
- Thyroid ultrasound
- Mammogram
- Colposcopy
- Chest X-Ray
- ECG/electrocardiogram (to screen for coronary artery disease at rest
- Follow-up conclusion and recommendations
